An Altoona driver and a passenger escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 350 in Warriors Mark Township on July 22 at 3:40 a.m.
Police said 21-year-old Jamie Rogalla lost control of the car while traveling south on the road. The vehicle hit a traffic sign and went into a field. The driver tried to leave the scene in the vehicle, but it got stuck on an embankment.
Police said Rogalla then left the scene on foot. Police said Rogalla would be charged with hit-and-run and multiple traffic offenses.
Both Rogalla and a passenger, 22-year-old Paul Grassmyer of Tyrone, were wearing seat belts. The car had moderate damage.

A rural Tyrone woman was the victim of harassment by communication after incidents that happened between 6 and 10 p.m. on July 30.
The Snyder Township woman reported receiving harassing phone messages from a person known to her. Police said the woman did not want to press charges in the investigation.

A Tyrone man was the victim of a burglary from a barn on Hoover Lane in Snyder Township sometime between July 31 and Aug. 1.
State police said someone entered the barn of Chad Sprankle and stole an orange 2003 KTM Pro Junior 50cc motorcycle valued at $2,000 and a .20 gauge shotgun valued at $400.

A bridge along Plummer Hollow Road was damaged in a criminal mischief incident that happened sometime between 3 p.m. on Aug. 1 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 2.
State police said someone removed wooden side rails from the bridge, which goes across the Little Juniata RIver. The bridge is maintained by the Blair County Highway Department.

A Bellwood man is suspected of driving under the influence stemming from a stop for a traffic violation on State Route 453 in Morris Township in Huntingdon County.
Police said James M. Bilka was found to be under the influence of alcohol when he was stopped shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 3. Bilka was arrested and released. Charges were pending.

An 18-year-old Tyrone man has been charged for underage consumption and drug possession in an incident that happened on Plummer Hollow Road in Snyder Township last Thursday at 6:44 p.m.
Police said David Allen Chathams was charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and underage consumption.

A 17-year-old girl suffered a minor injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 1013 in Sinking Valley last Thursday at 8:20 p.m.
Police said the girl failed to maintain control of her vehicle while traveling north along the road. The vehicle veered off the road and went down an embankment and hit a tree.
Charges involving a violation of driving on roadways laned for travel were filed against the teen driver.

An 18-year-old Texas teen was cited for criminal trespass after an incident last Friday at 10:30 p.m. in Antis Township.
Police said Eric Lee Stoker and three of his friends drove onto private property along Frito Lane. Police said Stoker and the others disregarded several signs marking the area as off limits. Stoker was cited and released.

A 52-year-old Warriors Mark man was accused in a harassment case that happened last Saturday at 2:10 a.m. at his residence.
Police said Elwood Reese was involved in a verbal argument with 46-year-old Robin Reese when he allegedly grabbed the woman and pushed her to the floor. Charges against the man were filed before a Huntingdon County magisterial district judge.

A Madera man was involved in a DUI incident on State Route 453, four miles north of Tyrone, in Antis Township on Saturday at 11:40 p.m.
Police said Joseph Madera was going south on the road and hit an embankment. Madera was arrested for DUI. He was not wearing a seat belt.
