Corrected report: The following item contained an incorrect last name as it was published yesterday. The correct information appears as follows.
A Madera man, Joseph Vanish, was involved in a DUI incident on State Route 453, four miles north of Tyrone, in Antis Township on Saturday at 11:40 p.m.
Police said Vanish was going south on the road and hit an embankment. He was arrested for DUI and was not wearing a seat belt.

A Spruce Creek man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident on State Route 45 in Franklin Township on Aug. 1 at 11:20 a.m.
Police said a vehicle operated by 40-year-old James Garlena was traveling west on the road while a vehicle driven by Teeters was traveling east. Police said Garlena’s car crossed into the opposite lane and struck the side of Teeters’ vehicle.
Both men were wearing seat belts. Garlena’s car had minor damage. Teeters’ car also had minor damage and had to be towed from the scene.

A 37-year-old Osceola Mills man, Fred Dively, was arrested for DUI after an incident on old Route 220 in the Bellemeade area of Antis Township on Sunday at 2:02 a.m.
Police said Dively was found asleep at the wheel of his stopped vehicle. He was subsequently arrested for DUI. The case is to proceed via summons.

A 23-year-old Warriors Mark man, Michael Woomer, suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident on I-99 in the Grazierville construction area on Wednesday at 7:55 a.m.
Police said Woomer was southbound when he hit the rear of a truck driven by Gerald Jackson of Hollidaysburg. Woomer hit his head off the windshield of his vehicle.
Police said Woomer will be cited for careless driving and not wearing a seat belt. A 22-year-old passenger in Woomer’s car, Kirsten Woomer, was not hurt. The truck driver also escaped injury.

State police investigated a harassment incident involving family members on Wednesday at 3:25 p.m.
The incident happened on Teaberry Street in Snyder Township when a male juvenile allegedly punched both of his juvenile sisters. Police said the boy was cited for two counts of harassment.

A 36-year-old Altoona man, James Michael Yerty, was not hurt in a one-vehicle accident on Sand Bank Road on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
According to Hollidaysburg state police, Yerty was driving on the wrong side of the road and swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. Yerty’s vehicle hit an embankment and rolled over. Police said Yerty was not wearing a seat belt. His vehicle had severe damage.

Police are investigating a case of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct on Plummers Hollow Road off of State Route 453 in Tyrone Township on Thursday between 11:50 a.m. and 12:37 p.m.
Police said known adult males were involved in a sexual act within view of the public. Any other persons who may have observed the incident should contact Trooper Benton at the Hollidaysburg State Police at 696-6100.
