The annual Revolutionary War Days reenactment is scheduled this weekend at Fort Roberdeau.
The event will be held this Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9. The highlights of the event include an attack on the fort by British Rangers and Iroquois each day at 3 p.m. as well as Garrison life, open hearth cooking, log hewing, children’s artillery drill, games and crafts, 18th century physician, small arms demonstrations and a woods walk.
Participating units include Brant’s volunteers, the German Reg’t, Cluggage’s Ranging Company, the Living History Foundation and military interpretation centers on events in central Pennsylvania during the American Revolution, 1776-81. Robert Emerson, director of Old Fort Niagara, is coordinator for the event.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Colonial-type foods will be available for purchase.
