Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident last Tuesday at 4:30 a.m. along State Route 350 south in Snyder Township.
Police said the crash happened when 19-year-old Tyne M. Weston was traveling south on the road. Her car traveled onto the right berm and struck a guide rail post. After the impact, the car traveled down an embankment and rolled completely over.
Nineteen-year-old Alycia D. O’Donald of Tyrone was wearing a seat belt and suffered a moderate injury. William W. Poullos, 23, Altoona was wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury. Another passenger Brian G. Dean, 21, Tyrone was also belted and was not hurt.
The driver of the car was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The vehicle had severe damage.

A 56-year-old rural Altoona man suffered multiple injuries in a motorcycle accident on State Route 1013, approximately four miles north of Kettle Street in Tyrone Township last Tuesday at 4:25 p.m.
Police said Michael V. Turiano was northbound on the road and lost control of his bike while negotiating a right curve. Turiano’s motorcycle traveled off the road and struck a guide rail several times then came to a rest on the road. Turiano was ejected from the motorcycle at some point after striking the guide rail.
AMED Ambulance transported him to Altoona hospital. Sinking Valley Fire Company assisted at the scene.
Police said Turiano was to be charged with a safe speed violation.

A 24-year-old rural Tyrone man was involved in a one-vehicle accident last Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. in Antis Township.
Police said Richard Dale Goetz was traveling north on State Route 4015 when he approached the intersection of State Route 4018. Goetz attempted to make a right turn onto SR 4018. Police said Goetz was traveling too fast to make the curve and keep his car on the road. His vehicle left the road and traveled into a drainage ditch on the north side of SR 4018.
Police said Goetz was found to be intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to Bon Secours Hospital for a chemical test for blood. The investigation was continuing pending blood test results as of earlier this week.
Goetz was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. His vehicle had minor damage.
