State police investigated a report of a drug overdose on Monday at 3:54 p.m. in the parking lot of Bickle’s Surplus parking lot in Antis Township.
Police said suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia were found at the scene. The investigation was continuing as of Wednesday.

A Tyrone man, Frank Charles Dimemmo, was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 220 in Taylor Township, Centre County on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
Police said Dimemmo lost control of his vehicle while swerving for animals on the road. Dimemmo was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. His SUV had moderate damage.

A 25-year-old Altoona man was cited for harassment after an incident along Parkway Drive in Antis Township on Tuesday at 5:55 p.m.
Police said Phillip James Pfahler struck 50-year-old Mary Alice Pfahler in the head with a closed fist. The accused was cited for harassment at Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller’s office.

A 71-year-old Altoona woman, Elizabeth Louise Greene, was cited for a dog law violation after an incident on Tuesday at 7:38 p.m. along McMullen Road in Tyrone Township.
Police said the incident happened when Greene let her dog run loose. The dog approached a 38-year-old Altoona woman, Wendy Sue Hench, and caused her distress because of the dog’s aggressiveness.
A citation was filed against Greene at Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller’s office.

A Tyrone area woman was the victim of criminal mischief on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.
Police said someone smashed the victim’s mailbox located on State Route 4023.

A Detroit, MI truck driver and a Tyrone man were involved in a two-vehicle accident at the Tyrone/Snyder Township at the bridge in front of the paper mill on Wednesday at 9:35 p.m.
Police said Carl Gooden was operating his tractor-trailer south on State Route 4027 and made the turn at the bridge. While making the turn, the trailer wheels clipped the side of the bridge. The duel axles of the trailer were ripped off and then the trailer slid on the ground and hit a vehicle operated by Terry Dean as it was traveling north across the bridge.
Gooden and Dean both escaped injury. The tractor trailer had severe damage. Dean’s vehicle had moderate damage.

A 20-year-old man was involved in an underage drinking and disorderly conduct incident at the Teaberry development in Snyder Township on Thursday at 8:45 a.m.
Police said they arrived at the scene after a request for assistance with a mental health issue. They observed Kristopher D. Sheasley as being under the influence of alcohol. A test was conducted and it revealed a possible blood alcohol content of .162. Sheasley was described as combative and using profanity.
Sheasley is currently on probation for previous criminal offenses and was committed to Blair County Prison on a detainer for violating conditions of his probation.
Sheasley is being charged with underage drinking and disorderly conduct. A 17-year-old male juvenile present at the scene will also be charged with underage drinking.
