As part of your Memorial Day weekend festivities, join Blair Senior Services, for a fun-filled day at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park on Saturday, May 27.
Bring the entire family to enjoy a tasty DelGrosso\’s chicken barbecue luncheon, complete with Murf’s famous potato salad. Tickets, priced at $6.50 each, must be purchased by May 19. They are available at any senior community center. Barbecue lunch take-outs are also available at locations in Altoona, Tyrone, Roaring Spring and Williamsburg.
Young folks, and those young at heart, can celebrate the beginning of summer by riding the many park amusements. Or, enjoy a round of golf on DelGrosso\’s Championship miniature golf course. Discount miniature golf and ride coupons can be picked up at any senior community center.
Everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy entertainment provided by the Servello Family on stage from 1 to 3 p.m.
Athletes, 50 years of age or over, who have registered for the fifth annual Blair County Golden Games may compete in the miniature golf event on the Championship course from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
All proceeds from “Blair Senior Services Day” will help older Blair County residents age with dignity and independence.
