The Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, April 27 at the Tyrone Elks Club.
The social hour is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with hors-d’-oeuvres and a cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with entertainment and door prizes to follow.
Dinner will include a chicken breast, filling, tossed green salad, vegetable, potato, roll, dessert, coffee and tea.
The dinner cost will be $25 per person and must be paid for in advance by cash or check. Dinner tickets will not be sold at the door, so make reservations early. Completed forms, payment and reservations must be received by April 21. Late registrations will not be accepted.
The admission ticket will serve as entry for the door prize(s). Please fill out the back of the ticket and turn it in at the door upon arrival. The Chamber will be selling raffle tickets at the door, six tickets for $5 or 12 for $10, for a chance to win one of the many items donated by local businesses. Individuals must be present to win.
If a local company has not been contacted and would like to donate a gift basket, a gift certificate, or any other item, contact the Chamber office as soon as possible. The business name will be advertised in the program booklet. The amount of the donation is at the company’s discretion.
Lori Eckert is the chairperson for this event.
Also, the Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that Tyrone Community Night at the Altoona Curve is scheduled for May 13.
Curve game tickets will be available starting March 27 at the Chamber office and Gardners Candies.
