A rural Altoona woman suffered severe injuries as a result of an accident on Sinking Valley Road in Tyrone Township on March 11 at 8:10 a.m.
Adrienne E. Sweeney was operating her vehicle at a high rate of speed and lost control of it. The vehicle left the road and traveled onto the lawn belonging to John Nardozza causing moderate damage to it.
Police said Sweeney was cited for several moving violations.

A 38-year-old woman from Lanse, PA suffered a minor injury in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 99, just north of the Tyrone southbound exit in Tyrone on Sunday at 7:59 a.m.
Deborah A. Rendulic was traveling in the right southbound lane when she lost control of her vehicle. It rotated counter clockwise and struck the middle cement barrier with the right front end and then the right rear end.
The vehicle came to a rest partially on the barrier and in the left southbound lane of the road facing north.
Rendulic was wearing a seat belt. Three passengers, ages 14, 12 and 10 were all wearing seat belts and were not hurt.

Police said a small amount of marijuana was found on Stadium Drive in Antis Township on Sunday and it was reported to authorities.

A 50-year-old Tipton woman was the victim of theft at her residence on Sunday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Police said someone entered the bedroom of Pauline Marie Osterhout and removed some money from it.

A 20-year-old Riddlesburg, PA man and a Bedford County juvenile were charged with underage drinking after an incident in Taylor Township, Blair County early on Monday morning.
Police said Joel Donald Mills and the juvenile were charged when they were found loitering at the scene of a traffic collision on Decker Road.

Police are investigating a burglary at an Antis Township business that happened sometime between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:50 a.m. on Thursday.
Someone entered Maple Mountain Industries by forcing open a side door. After gaining entry, the burglar went to the cash drawer and stole $273. Police said their investigation was continuing.
