Everyone knows the Tyrone Post Office is the place to go to mail letters and to buy stamps. However, most people probably don’t know that the post office carries other theme items for purchase, including Pittsburgh Steelers memorabilia.
According to Post Master Tom Dougherty, the post office is stocked with a variety of Super Bowl champion Steelers group photos as well as individual photos of such popular players as Jerome Bettis, Troy Polamalu, Ben Roethlisberger and Hines Ward for $19.99 each.
The photos are matted and ready for framing. Each photo comes with a commemorative envelope and canceled stamp.
The post office also carries an assortment of other player photos from the Pittsburgh Penguins and NASCAR.
The post office offers something for everyone as the new wedding stamp is just on sale for the summer wedding season as well.
Also on sale is a variety of key chains, theme bears, phone cards, all kinds of packaging products, bookmarks, puppy lapel pins and more.
