Rebekah L. “Peg” Dressler, 80, of 212 E. 12th St., Tyrone, died Saturday morning, January 28, 2006 at Moran’s Home, Bellwood.
She was born February 19, 1925 in Clearfield, a daughter of Raymond Arthur and Ethel K. (Waltman) Wolfe.
She was married to the late Russell Dressler.
She is survived by a son Kenneth Ray Dressler of Tyrone; a daughter Kathy Morgan of Duncansville; two grandchildren, Sean Morgan of Mass. and Kenneth R. Dressler, Jr. of Texas and two sisters and three brothers: Ruth Orto of Leola, Emma Tate of Tyrone, Robert F. Wolfe of Montoursville, Blaine A. Wolfe of Tyrone and David W. Wolfe of Birdsboro.
Also, her longtime companion, Herbert C. Kutz of Tyrone and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Wolfe.
She was a member of the Tyrone First Assembly of God Church, a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1944 and a member of the VFW Aux. No. 4559.
She retired in 1982 from the Tyrone Hospital Dietary Dept. after 12 years service and was previously employed at the F&F Drycleaners, Tyrone, for 25 years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. P. William Glunt officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
