A theft happened at the Bickel’s Surplus Store in Antis Township on Dec. 27 at 12:25 p.m.
Police said a man and a woman entered the store and put a television and a satellite radio in a shopping cart.
When the man and woman went to the checkout line, the woman engaged in a verbal argument with the employee about returning the television set, as she didn’t have a receipt.
During the argument, the man pushed the cart out of the store. As he was doing so, the employee noticed the radio wasn’t paid for and was able to obtain it. However, the man continued to push the cart with the television set out of the store.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact state police in Hollidaysburg.

A 35-year-old Bellwood woman escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 865 in Antis Township on Dec. 27 at 7:27 p.m.
Kathryn Delozier was traveling on the road about one mile north of Bellwood when she attempted to negotiate a curve to the left. Delozier drove the vehicle off the roadway onto the right berm.
As she tried to regain control, the vehicle rotated counter-clockwise. Her car overturned and came to a rest in a ditch.
Police said she was wearing a seat belt and her vehicle had moderate damage.

An Altoona man was injured in an accident on State Route 1001 (old Route 220), about a mile-and-a-half north of the Pinecroft Intersection in Antis Township on Dec. 28 at 7:15 p.m.
John A. Fraundorfer was driving his car north on the road when he struck the rear of a pick-up truck operated by 33-year-old Michael T. Franks, also of Altoona.
At the time of the accident, the truck had already been disabled, and Franks was attempting to push the vehicle from the northbound lane.
Upon impact, Fraundorfer’s car traveled under the truck and struck the rear axle.
The impact also caused the truck to spin partially counter-clockwise. It’s rear struck and traveled along the guardrail prior to coming to a rest with its rear against the guardrail and the remainder of the vehicle blocking the northbound lane.
After hitting the truck, Fraundorfer’s vehicle traveled onto the east berm and struck the guardrail and traveled for several feet before coming to a rest along the berm and against the guardrail.
Fraundorfer had to be extricated from the vehicle by Pinecroft firefighters and transported to Altoona Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit.
Fraundorfer was wearing his seat belt and his airbag was deployed. Franks was uninjured.

New Year’s Day brought a criminal trespass incident to a property on Gypsy Camp Hollow Road in Snyder Township, shortly before 6:30 p.m.
A 41-year-old Warriors Mark man, David Scott Kirkpatrick, was charged with one summary count of criminal trespass after being on the property of 70-year-old Minnie Calderwood.
Police planned to file the citation before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.

A 27-year-old Tyrone woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Asbury Road in Antis Township on Jan. 3 at 9:25 a.m.
Gina Klesius was eastbound on Asbury Road when she failed to negotiate a left curve. Her vehicle then careened into a ditch, then an embankment before hitting a tree.
Klesius was not wearing a seat belt and suffered a moderate injury. She was transported to Altoona Regional Medical Center.
Her car had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
