Matthew B. Woomer, 40, of 1111 Washington Ave., Tyrone died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005 at his residence.
He was born May 18, 1965 in Tyrone, a son of Alfred F. “Jack” and Veta M. (Patton) Woomer.
Surviving are two sons: Trey and Jared of Tyrone; a daughter Tori of Tyrone, his parents of Tyrone; four brothers: Larry, Jack and Mark, all of Tyrone, Michael of Tipton; two sisters Tammy Woodring of Tipton and Vivian Shauf of Grazierville.
Mr. Woomer was a 1983 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and had been formerly employed at HRI Construction, State College and at Albemarle Corp. of Tyrone.
He was a member of the Hookies, Tyrone and the Tyrone Sportsmans Club. He enjoyed hunting and farming.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Michelle Somerville officiating. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
