With two six-year terms up for grabs on the Antis Township Board of Supervisors, current Chairman Raymond E. Amato will appear on the Republican ballot next Tuesday.
Joining Amato on the Republican ballot is Robert Smith.
Sue Kensinger will appear on the ballot in Antis Township, vying for the position of tax collector.
In the Bellwood mayoral race, current mayor, James C. Bonsell’s name will once again appear on the ballot as he seeks another four-year term. Mayor Bonsell first stepped into office in 1983, filling the unexpired term of Paul Hanna. Bonsell held the office for over 10 years, through 1994. Currently, he has been in office since 2002.
With four, four-year seats available in the race for Bellwood Borough Council, sole Democratic candidate Thomas Lechner will appear on the ballot.
On the Republican ticket, voters will see current council members Susanne Johnson and Fred C. Sweigert along with newcomer Earl L. Garber and former council member Stoddard Martin.
Also, The Daily Herald was informed of a write-in campaign in the works for Eileen Newberry who will throw her hat into the ring at next week’s election.
Voters in the borough will see Loueen Grazier on the ballot for Bellwood Borough tax collector.
There are four seats to be filled on the Bellwood-Antis School Board. Current members, John E. Shaffer Jr. and Lisa Kovac will appear on both the Republican and Democratic tickets next week. Linda Cherry will join the pair on the Republican ticket and Dennis Minori will appear on the Democratic ballot.
