Warriors Mark Burglaries
State police are investigating two burglaries that happened in Warriors Mark Township on Tuesday.
The first incident happened sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 10 p.m. when someone gained entry into the residence of Rebecca and Mark Walter by entering a rear door.
Once inside the Blackberry Lane residence, the burglar went into the master bedroom and removed several items of jewelry from a jewel box. Police said the approximate value of the stolen items was $12,000. They reported nothing else was taken from the house.

The other burglary happened on Pennington Road between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. when someone attempted to gain entry into a residence by opening the basement storm cellar doors.
Nothing was taken from the home of Crystal and Brandon Beamer. The suspect(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction.
