State police investigated a burglary at a church in Sinking Valley earlier this month.
Someone broke into the Sinking Valley Presbyterian Church sometime between Sept. 7 and 9. Approximately $1 worth of nickels were stolen and damage was done to a filing cabinet.

A business is Tipton was the scene of criminal mischief between 7 a.m. on Sept. 7 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 12.
Someone damaged a soda machine outside the Chief Logan Museum and Gift Shop.

Two Antis Township residents were involved in a two-vehicle accident on old Route 220 about 1/10 of a mile north of State Route 4023 in Antis Township on Sept. 8 at 8 p.m.
Mardell Miller was operating an SUV on the road and rear-ended a farm tractor operated by Bruce Knisely. Miller’s vehicle then rolled over and came to a rest on its left side.
Both operators reported minor injuries. Police said both operators were cited in the incident. Miller was issued a citation for careless driving. Knisely was cited for a violation of lighting requirements of the state vehicle code.

An out-of-state man was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 220 in Snyder Township on Sept. 10 at 4:56 p.m.
Twenty-six-year-old Geoffrey Olpand of Michigan was driving south on the road near the Centre County line when he lost control of his car. The vehicle went into a ditch on the west berm of the road.
Olpand was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. His car had damage to its undercarriage.

State police arrested a 19-year old rural Hollidaysburg woman for DUI after a minor accident on Sept. 10 at 8:20 p.m. in Snyder Township.
Angel Madden was driving on State Route 220 about a half-a-mile north of Bald Eagle when her vehicle left the road and went into a ditch.
Police said charges were to be filed against Madden at Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller’s office.
Twenty-year-old Cory Michael McMahon of Bellwood was cited for underage drinking at the same time and location of Madden’s accident. The same trooper investigated both situations. However, police did not indicate if the two incidents were related. A citation against McMahon was filed at Judge Miller’s office.
