A 98-year-old Bellwood woman was the victim of a burglary in August.
Police said the incident happened sometime between Aug. 17 and 31 when someone entered the E. 8th Street residence of Ruth Miller Otley and rummaged through its contents.

State police investigated a case of criminal mischief last month at a cemetery in Snyder Township.
Someone broke a door off of a storage shed owned by the Baughman Cemetery Association sometime between Aug. 24 and 25. The total damage was listed at $100.

Huntingdon State Police investigated a two-vehicle accident in Penn Township on Aug. 27 at 1:30 p.m.
One of the drivers was a 25-year old rural Tyrone man, Donald Hippo III.
He was driving north on T-430 and a vehicle driven by 26-year old Erik Gore was traveling south. Hippo’s vehicle slid on the wet road and went into the path of Gore’s car.
The two vehicles hit head on and came to a rest in the middle of the southbound lane.
Both men suffered minor injuries while both vehicles had severe damage.
Hippo III was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

A 19-year old Tyrone woman was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 350, south of Warriors Mark Village.
Joanne Adams was traveling south on the road and failed to negotiate a left curve. Her vehicle went onto the embankment and rolled over.
Adams was transported to the Tyrone Hospital. Huntingdon-based state police were assisted by Warriors Mark-Franklin Fire Company.

A Warriors Mark man has been arrested for receiving stolen property in connection with an ATV theft incident earlier this year.
On Aug. 29, a 20-year-old Winburne man, Steven Kent Lutz, was arrested and arraigned on charges of burglary and theft. The charges stemmed from a burglary investigation involving a stolen ATV.
Lutz was charged with stealing the ATV from the residence of Brandon Diviney of Philipsburg. He was arraigned and a preliminary hearing was scheduled in early September in Centre County Court. Earlier this week, the county’s court administrator’s office said that hearing was continued to Oct. 5. After Lutz’s arraignment he was released, according to Philipsburg-based state police.
The Warriors Mark man, 25-year-old Chad Joseph Smith, was arrested and arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property stemming from the incident. The stolen ATV was found at Smith’s house in Warriors Mark. He was released after his arraignment and was scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 4 in Huntingdon County Court.

A Tyrone woman and a Warriors Mark man were involved in a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 31 in Warriors Mark Township.
Forty-year-old Sally Campbell of Tyrone was traveling south on State Route 350 while 70-year-old John Nearhoof of Warriors Mark was northbound. Campbell lost control of her vehicle on the wet road and it slid into the northbound lane and struck Nearhoof’s vehicle.
Police reported Campbell was not wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Nearhoof suffered minor injuries and was wearing a seat belt. A passenger in Nearhoof’s vehicle, 70-year-old Joanne Nearhoof suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Tyrone Hospital for treatment.
Both vehicles had heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene.
A citation against Campbell was to be filed for a “roadways lined for traffic” offense.
