Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania will celebrate a warm summer evening on Sunday, August 28 from 4 to 8 p.m.
“Something Out of the Ordinary, Surround Yourself in Elegance”, chaired by Joe and Serena Stevens, will be held at the elegant Hollidaysburg home of Don and Lisa Woomer.
Guests will enjoy patio music by Double Vision and soft jazz selections by Kent Martin. Guests also will enjoy creative catering by Denny Helsel and The Calvin House including mini lobster tails and crab cakes, hot and cold seafood bar, Japanese Tempura bar, tantalizing mashed potato bar with various toppings, baby back ribs, lamb chops, blackened sea bass and much more.
A silent auction will give the guests the opportunity to bid on gourmet meals prepared and served in private homes, Pool and Pizza Party at Amy and Steve Seltzer’s, four day/three night Carnival Cruise, Mis en Place Couple Dinner for eight, motor home shopping trip to King of Prussia Mall, Altoona Curve tickets, Silpalda Jewelry, Kranich’s watch and much more.
Limousine golf cart tours will be available with a wine tasting scavenger hunt of the land.

Last year’s event netted nearly $20,000 for Easter Seals whose mission is to create solutions and change lives for children and adults with disabilities or other special needs.
