State police are investigating a case of unlawful taking which occurred last month in Antis Township.
The press release offered little detail. It listed the victim as 46-year-old Joseph M. Damiano of Tyrone. Police said the incident happened between June 19 and 20 on Igou Road.

Tyrone Auto Salvage in Snyder Township was the scene of a theft incident on June 20.
A tire and rim was stolen from a totaled vehicle.

An Altoona man was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 99 South, in a construction zone located in Snyder Township, on June 20 at 12:34 p.m.
Charles Fisher fell asleep while driving south on the road. His van struck a west guardrail with the right front part of the vehicle. Fisher’s van then traveled back across the lane and struck the cement barrier before coming to a rest.
Police said Fisher was wearing a seat belt. His vehicle had moderate damage.

Snappy’s in Snyder Township was the scene of a pump-and-run incident on June 20 at 1:30 p.m.
Police said Snappy’s reported the gas drive off. Employees were able to retrieve a license plate number.

A beauty salon in Snyder Township was burglarized sometime between 1 p.m. on June 20 and 8:40 a.m. on June 21.
Someone broke into Styles by Jennette located on old Route 220 in Grazierville.
Police said a sum of money was taken from the establishment owned by Jennette Novak.
