Family entertainment continues this weekend as the Fun Friday series in downtown Tyrone continues.
This week the Tyrone Regional Arts Council’s Fun Friday concert series at City Hotel Park brings veteran performer, Dennie Huber to the stage.
After dinner, settle in for a little music and magic. Huber, brings his unique blend of song and slight of hand to this week’s performance, beginning at 7 p.m.
An Altoona native, Dennie has been entertaining since the age of 12. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Musicians and has received numerous awards for his work with local charities. Although he likes to bill himself as \”larger than life\” due to his imposing size, Dennie has one of the sweetest voices any audience will hear. His carefully constructed mix of magic and music makes for a wonderful experience for audiences of all ages.
In the event of rain, the concert will be held in Joybeans Coffee Shop on Logan Avenue. Individuals attending the concert should bring blankets or chairs for seating.
Fun Friday Concerts are made possible by a grant from the PA Council on the Arts, a state agency, the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency and Tyrone Borough.
