The Tyrone Community Partnership recently joined forces with the Tyrone Community Players in the production, “An American Cabaret, A Gathering Of Friends.”
The Tyrone Social Center was transformed into a night club-like atmosphere filled with delightful culinary temptations, spirited music and dance, and the warm fellowship of some favorite TCP performers.
Next on the Tyrone Community Partnership’s slate of activities is this evening’s Cinco de Mayo dinner, which is scheduled to be held at the social hall from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the social center, Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce office, Joybeans, Alice’s Garden and at the door.
Scheduled for Sunday, May 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is a Mother’s Day Buffet at the social center.
The menu for the buffet includes: tossed salad with assorted dressings, apple sauce, cole slaw and pasta salad, carved prime rib of beef Au Jus, London chicken, baked haddock, penne pasta with shrimp, stuffed shells, long grain and wild rice pilaf, roasted red skin potatoes, scallion smashed potatoes, assorted desserts and assorted bread and rolls with butter.
