Roberta (Bertie) Cupp, 89, of 5315 Dungarvin Rd., Warriors Mark died May 4, 2005 at Altoona Regional Health Center, Bon Secour Campus.
She was born October 11, 1915 in Dungarvin, the daughter of Susan (Houck) and Grant Ellenberger.
On February 9, 1935 in Altoona, she married Frank D. Cupp who died in 1978.
Surviving is one son, James and wife Ramona of Warriors Mark; one daughter, Judith E. Henninger and friend John R. Henderson, Jr. of Tyrone; two granddaughters, Susan M. Weaver of Tyrone and Brenda Drucken Miller McClure; three grandsons, Jimmie Cupp, Joe Cupp and Frank Henninger, all of Warriors Mark; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Myrtle Harpster of Warriors Mark.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Cupp was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church and a past member of the Dungarvin United Methodist Church. Also, the Warriors Mark Senior Citizens, Warriors Mark-Franklin Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Aux. and AARP.
She enjoyed crafts, needle point, crochet, bingo and playing cards.
She was employed at Reliance Manufactory Co. Tyrone, then at Fink Drug Store in Tyrone. She retired from Erie Technology in State College in 1982 with 24 years of service.
Funeral service will be May 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark with Rev. Peggy Bonsell officiating. Place of burial will be Ross Cemetery, Marengo.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
