A Tyrone man and woman were involved as the drivers in a two-vehicle accident along River Road (Township Road 503) In Antis Township on April 1 at 1:10 p.m.
The crash happened when a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Dianna Miller was traveling north on the road and a pick-up truck driven by 19-year-old Matthew Hostler was traveling south.
Miller failed to negotiate a curve in the road and lost control of her car which then struck the pick-up. According to police, the right front corner of Miller’s car impacted with the right front corner of the pick-up truck.
Miller was wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury. A passenger in her vehicle, 55-year-old Linda L. Clark was also belted and suffered a minor injury.
Hostler was not hurt and was also wearing a seat belt.
Both vehicles had moderate damage.

Two Tyrone women were involved in a physical confrontation near Route 4027 in an alley in the Grazierville area of Snyder Township on April 2 at 5 p.m.
State police said 35-year-old Loni S. Liner and 36-year-old Lori M. Osterhout got into it with each other. Early this month, police said they expected to file disorderly conduct charges against the pair before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.

A 46-year-old unidentified woman was found to be in possession of suspected drugs and marijuana pipes in a vehicle parked in the Tyrone Hospital parking lot on April 2.
Charges were pending analysis of the suspected marijuana.

A Bellwood man was the victim of a theft at a business establishment in Huston Township, Centre County sometime between April 3 at 11:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. on April 4.
Joseph Michael Neary II had his Ibanez Taltman guitar stolen from The Endzone on State Route 322. The guitar was described as having a cream neck and pearl knobs. Total loss was listed at $500.

A 70-year-old Centre Hall woman escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident in Taylor Township, Centre County on April 4 at 11:15 a.m.
Katherine Miller was driving southbound on State Route 220 and lost control of her vehicle near the intersection of Goss Hollow Lane. Her car traveled off the west edge of the road and struck a guardrail.

A Warriors Mark driver was involved in a two-vehicle accident on State Route 75 in Spruce Hill, Juniata County, on April 4 at 3 p.m.
Fifty-two-year-old Grady Baney was entering the road from a private lane when his pick-up truck struck a Mack truck operated by 44-year-old John Dearmitt of Lewistown.
Neither driver was injured and both were wearing seat belts. The pick-up truck had disabling damage while the Mack truck had minor damage.
