A Tyrone High School student, 17-year-old Tylor Reese of Warriors Mark Township, was killed in an ATV crash on a private drive leading to the Spring Ridge Estates in the township over the weekend.
Shortly before press time, Tyrone Area High School Principal Rebecca Erb confirmed Reese was killed in the accident and that she informed students at the school about the tragedy this morning.
The incident occurred about a half-a-mile off of Reese Road, sometime between Saturday and Sunday, according to a release from Huntingdon-based state police.
Reese was pronounced dead at the scene. Another male juvenile was injured in the incident and was flown to Altoona Hospital for his injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation.
