Family Services’ Supportive Services Program at Evergreen Manors has been chosen as one of five training sites in Pennsylvania for the free “Building Communities Together Workshop” organized by Parents Anonymous of PA. This workshop will be held on March 30 at Evergreen Manors’ Community Room, 5919 Evergreen Court, Altoona.
Two workshops will be offered: a parent workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., childcare and food will be provided and a workshop for professionals from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The workshops address the need to bring together community resources to better serve the needs of children and parents in the community.
