Three trucks were involved in an accident in Taylor Township in Centre Township shortly after midnight on Feb. 25.
A Peterbilt Tri-axle operated by 27-year-old Dustin Rhodes of James Creek was stopped for a vehicle which was making a left turn when a chain reaction collision happened.
A tractor trailer truck operated by 30-year-old Donald Steiner hit Rhodes’ vehicle and a tractor trailer driven by 28-year-old Joseph Beach hit Steiner’s truck.
Beach suffered minor injuries. Steiner and Rhodes were not injured. All three men were wearing seat belts.
Beach’s truck had moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene. The trucks operated by Steiner and Rhodes had moderate damage.

A Tyrone man was involved in a two-vehicle accident on River Road and the Alexandria Pike in Porter Township, Huntingdon County on Feb. 26 at 11:31 a.m.
The crash occurred when a vehicle operated by 57-year-old Robert Alan Baker of Alexandria was traveling north on River Road. A car driven by 77-year-old James E. Moist of Tyrone pulled into the path of Baker’s vehicle from the Alexandria Pike. Baker was unable to avoid hitting Moist’s car at the intersection.
Moist suffered moderate injuries and was not wearing a seat belt. His vehicle had major damage. Baker was not hurt and was belted. His vehicle had moderate damage.
Huntingdon based state police said Moist would be cited for a stop sign violation at a Huntingdon County magisterial judge’s office.
Police were assisted by Juniata Valley EMS and the Alexandria Fire Department and EMS.

A Warriors Mark Township woman suffered a minor injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 350 in the township on March 2 at 5:50 p.m.
Nicole McWilliams lost control due to hitting a patch of ice and snow covering a portion of the road. The vehicle spun out of control and hit a sign and a snow bank.
McWilliams’ car had severe damage to its front end. Police said she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
