Mrs. Marian Condol Kimbrough, age 98, of 816 Park Avenue, Tyrone died Thursday Feb. 17, 2005 at 1:55 p.m. at Moran’s Nursing Home, Bellwood.
She was born April 8, 1906 in Williamsport, the daughter of Fred and Nellie White Condol. In 1947, she was married to Dr. Oma H. Kimbrough who preceded her in death in 1972.
She is survived by one son, Oma R. Kimbrough of Tyrone. She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters: Festus Condol, Lillian Condol, Virginia Condol, Kathyrn J. Condol and Olivia H. Condol.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Kimbrough was a graduate of Lock Haven State Teachers College and had taught elementary school both in Tidewater, VA and York, PA.
Following the death of her husband she returned from York to live in Tyrone. She and her sister will be remembered as having faithfully walked their collie for many years.
Funeral service for Mrs. Marian Condol Kimbrough will be Monday, Feb. 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Vance N. Clark officiating. Private interment will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
