A 21-year-old Altoona man escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 350 in Warriors Mark Township on Nov. 12 at 11:04 p.m.
Bradley Carter was south bound on the road when he lost control on the wet surface north of State Route 4025.
Carter crossed the north bound lane of travel and impacted the guide rail on the east side of the road.
Carter was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. His car had moderate damage.
Police said Carter would be cited for failing to drive his vehicle at a safe speed.

Police report a case of criminal mischief on Grandview Road on Nov. 13 between 5:30 and 10:30 p.m.
Someone who was driving north on the road threw a sandbag at a group of mailboxes. The sandbag struck three mailboxes which caused damage to all of them. Police said the boxes belonged to John Highduch, RD 1 Box 119, Altoona; Jack Oswald, RD 1, Box 120 and Donald Gallice, RD 1, Box 121, Altoona.

A Tyrone woman was the victim of a burglary at her residence on Becher Road in Antis Township on Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 12 Noon.
Someone entered the home of Heather A. Quick through an unlocked door and removed a black jewelry box containing various pieces of jewelry.

Two construction signs were taken along State Route 220 in Taylor and Worth Townships in Centre County on Tuesday between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., according to Philipsburg state police.
The signs reading “work area ahead” belonged to HRI Inc. of State College. The value of the signs is more than $800.
Police have a description of a suspect vehicle in the case. It’s a burgundy Ford F250 pickup with a possible registration of PA ULX 9368. Anyone seeing the vehicle should contact Philipsburg state police.

A 21-year-old Mill Creek man was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 350 near South Mountain Road in Taylor Township, Centre County on Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.
The accident happened when Kendall E. Kauffman was driving a tractor trailer north on the road behind a line of traffic. The line of vehicles suddenly slowed and Kauffman realized there was insufficient room for him to stop his truck without hitting another vehicle in front of him.
He swerved off the road and struck a ditch head-on. The impact caused the load of logs he was hauling to break free and fall off his trailer. Kauffman was cited for following too closely.
He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. His tractor trailer had moderate damage.
