Joseph F. Griffin, beloved husband of 49 years to Mary (nee Sexton); loving father of M. Anne (Mike) O’Donnell, the late Patrick (Lynn) Griffin, Kathy (Bryan) Schmitt and Joe P. (Sharon) Griffin; dear grandfather of nine; dear brother of the late Bill (Marilyn) Griffin, passed away Jan. 6, 2005, age 78.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Neidhard-Gillen Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, (Cincinnati, OH area), with Third Degree Knights of Columbus Prayers at 7:30 p.m.
Archbishop Elko Assembly SKs to perform Fourth Degree Honors. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption, 7711 Joseph St., Mt. Healthy, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Assumption Building Fund, Hamilton County Special Olympics or Llanfair Retirement Village. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Joe retired from G.E., where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a life time member of the Madonna Council # 3891 Knights of Columbus and a member of the Archbishop Elko Assembly.
