Louise McCabe was born Sue Louise Wilson, May 25, 1915, in DuBois, PA, to Nellie and Cloyd Wilson. She grew up in Clearfield, PA. She married her husband of 68 years, on her birthday in 1936.
Louise Wilson McCabe is survived by her husband Frank of Gilbert Arizona; sons Jack and his wife Sandra Petika of Cannonsburg, PA and Michael of Gilbert, AZ; grandsons, Douglas and Andrew and spouses Alexa and Amy all of Seattle, WA, and grandson John and his wife Kelli, of Cecil, PA. Louise had seven great-grandchildren. Her daughter-in-law, Cathy of Gilbert, AZ, her sister, Elizabeth and her brother Jerry preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held in Gilbert, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Cathy L. McCabe Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o the Chandler Education Foundation, 1525 W. Frye Road, Chandler, AZ 85225. Make checks payable to the Chandler Education Foundation.
