Gerald B. Parker, age 92, of Dillsburg, formerly of Washington Crossing, PA and West Palm Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2004 at the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA.
Mr. Parker was the retired Customer Service Eastern Regional Manager with Sears located in Trenton, NJ. He was also a US Army Veteran of WWII, had a great love of boating and deep sea fishing, an avid bird lover and a member of the Sons of Norway.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Mary E. Reighard Parker. His sons, Randolph L. Parker, of Washington Crossing, PA, and Gerald B. Parker of Tyrone. His daughter, Pamela L. Alkins, Dillsburg, PA. Eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald E. Parker of Tyrone.
Services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m., December 1, 2004 at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut Street, Dillsburg, PA with Reverend M. Edward Messersmith officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
