The Altoona City Water Authority has confirmed there is a boil water notice in effect for the Grazierville area.
The notice went into effect for a 24-hour-period early this morning after a water main break in the area shortly after midnight Friday. Residents and business establishments are advised to boil their water for at least three minutes prior to usage.
The break occurred in the Clinton Street area in Grazierville.
