Howard V. Cambridge, 68, formerly of Bald Eagle, and at the time of death residing in Ormond Beach, Fla., went to be with the Lord Friday, March 12, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne (States) Cambridge. The couple was united in marriage March 5, 1954, and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Also surviving are three sons, Howard A. Cambridge, and his wife Rose of Tyrone; and Jeffrey Cambridge and William Cambridge, both of Warriors Mark; six grandchildren, Ashley, Nichole, Billy, Erica, Jeffrey and Morgan; and a sister, Loretta McClellan, of Bald Eagle.
Mr. Cambridge served in the United States Army as an instructor on helicopter engines. He was also honored as a sharpshooter.
He owned and operated Howard Cambridge and Sons Trucking Co. After his retirement in 1997, he moved from Pennsylvania to Florida, where he was employed as a courier for Ameripath.
