Helen P. Price, 68, of 323 W. 18th St., Tyrone, died Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College.
She was born April 21, 1935 in Tyrone a daughter of the late Pearl Beckwith. On January 19, 1954 in Winchester, Virginia she married Richard V. Price.
Surviving are her husband, a son Richard V. Jr. of Exeter, New Hampshire, a daughter, Natalie Ann Price of San Antonio, Texas, a granddaughter, Kelsey Sara Price, a brother, Delbert Hamer of Tyrone and several step-brothers and step-sisters.
Mrs. Price was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She was formerly employed at Gardner’s Candies and was a secretary for Bob Strubles Furniture, Tyrone. She enjoyed quilting and her nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and announced by the Feller Memorial Home.
