The Daily Herald wishes to share with its readers successful hunting stories of hunters in Northern Blair County.
Hunters who harvest a buck during the first two days of the season, Monday and Tuesday, can share their information by contacting The Daily Herald at anytime on Monday or Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and giving the proper information. Phone 684-4000.
Hunters should be ready to give their name, age (if they are a younger hunter), where they live, number of points on the buck, spread (if known) and time and location of where the deer was harvested.
A list of the successful hunts will appear on Page 1 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Also, hunters who would like to have their photos of their successful hunt published in the newspaper can bring their kill to the offices of The Daily Herald throughout the week. Hunters must have the above information readily available when they come to have their picture taken. Hunters may also submit or email (dheraldnews@adelphia.net) photos to The Daily Herald. The photos will be published as space permits in The Daily Herald.
