Hollidaysburg state police
Police report 44-year-old Michael James Daugherty of RD 3 Tyrone was charged with a number of violations following an accident that occurred along state Route 4027, at the Tyrone Mini Storage, in Snyder Township on Oct. 5 at 3:40 p.m.
Police said the charges include driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving at safe speeds, careless driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic and failure to use restraint systems.

Police were called to state Route 99 north of the Bellwood Exit in Antis Township on Oct. 30 to investigate an accident.
Police said Richard Weston of Tyrone was northbound when his vehicle struck a bear on the roadway. No injuries were reported.

Police report David Allen Miller Jr. of RR 2 Tyrone was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct on Oct. 30 as a result of a domestic dispute. He was arraigned on the charges and committed to Blair County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
On Oct. 31, Miller was arraigned on a warrant issued by District Magistrate Fred Miller on a charge of intimidating a witness. Miller allegedly threatened a witness of an incident unrelated to the aforementioned. The witness was allegedly threatened with assault by Miller if they testified against him.
Bail was set for this charge in the amount of $50,000.

Police received a report from Jacqueline Michelle Ramsey of Tyrone that someone stole a 1988 Ford Escort from her property at Teaberry Street in Snyder Township.

Police report a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 11:10 p.m. on Saturday along SR 764 in Antis Township.
Police said the pedestrian was walking along the east berm and the vehicle was northbound. As the vehicle passed the pedestrian, the pedestrian fell into the vehicle’s right side. Upon impact, the pedestrian was knocked to the ground.
Police said the vehicle didn’t stop after the accident.
After the accident, police said some friends found him and took him to his residence. They then called for an ambulance and the man was taken to Altoona Hospital for treatment.
Huntingdon state police
Police were called to Dry Hollow Road in Franklin Township, Huntingdon County at 3 p.m. Saturday to investigate an accident.
Police said a westbound vehicle operated by Roger D. Kelly of Port Matilda traveled into the eastbound lane and crashed into a vehicle operated by Randall Burnell of Warriors Mark. Police said a passenger in the Burnell vehicle was pregnant and for precautionary measures, was transported to Centre Community Hospital.
Police were assisted at the scene by a medic from WMVFD and AMED ambulance out of Tyrone.
