The Daily Herald wants your Thanksgiving recipes to share with the rest of northern Blair County. And one lucky person who submits their recipe will win a large Thanksgiving turkey, a bag of potatoes and the stuffing from Tyrone Bi-Lo to prepare for your family.
It’s easy to win! Just enter your favorite Thanksgiving recipe (cookies, pumpkin pie, deep-fried turkey, cranberry sauce, etc.) by sending it to The Daily Herald, 1067 Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686. Submissions can also be dropped off at The Daily Herald office or through e-mail at dheraldnews@adelphia.net.
All submissions should be complete with an ingredient list, step-by-step preparation directions and approximate serving sizes.
All recipes will be published in the Wednesday, November 19, 2003 edition of The Daily Herald. All recipe entries must be received by Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003.
One winner will be chosen at random from all entries and recipes received. Please include your name, address and phone number on your recipe. Grand prize drawing will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2003 and announced in The Daily Herald.
