Mrs. Elsie C. Gore, age 90, of 11 Ninth Street, Tyrone, died Thursday, October 9, 2003 at 8:55 p.m. at her residence.
She was born April 30, 1913 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of John and Alice Stout Hilty. On August 19, 1939 at DuBois she was married to Raymond J. Gore who preceded her in death May 11, 1969. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Harris of Tyrone; grandchildren – Jason Harris and Julie Harden, both of Tyrone and one great-granddaughter Paris Harden of Tyrone and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Funeral service for Mrs. Gore will be private at the convenience of the family with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona.
