The members of Grazierville Church have scheduled a church festival for Saturday, September 27 from 4-6 p.m.
If the weather is nice, the festival will take place in the field across from the church. However, if it rains, the festival will be moved indoors.
The public is invited to attend.
There is a full schedule of events planned for the festival including fun, food, fellowship and entertainment for all who participate in the events.
According to Pastor Jay Jones, this is the first year the church is able to have the Grazierville Church Festival set up this way.
The reason is because the church had faced some financial hardships in past years, and so the festival was always used as a fund raiser for the church. Fortunately for the church, there have been no problems with finances for the last couple of years.
Therefore, this year’s festival is a thank you to the members of the church and to the community.
All food items, including hot dogs, snow cones, pasta salads and baked beans, among others are only a quarter a piece.
Also, there will be an array of games for the kids, including a fish pond, tossing games and a cake walk.
The festival is a fun time for members of the church and members of the community to join together in a time of fun and fellowship.
Grazierville Church also has Sunday weekly worship service at 9:15 a.m.
