Judith A. Ewing, age 69, 212 E. 12 Street, Tyrone, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1939 in Tyrone, the daughter of Howard William and Naomi V. Orwick Reese. She is survived by two sons, Steven Howard Boyd of Missouri and James Alan (Teresa) Boyd of Irvona; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother, Howard (Karen) Reese of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by a son, Vern and a daughter, Debra Carr, one grandchild and two brothers – William and Russell.
Ms. Ewing had worked as a housekeeper for a number of persons. She was a member of the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company.
Funeral service for Judith A. Ewing will be Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with Reverend Norman E. Huff officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be made in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Taylor Township.
