Former Tyrone resident Stan Barry returned to his home church with “The Kings Combo” in presenting a musical worship service of praise at Christ United Methodist Church Sunday morning. A retired member of the United States Navy Band, Barry of Fort Washington, Md., played in the local church’s orchestra from 1956 to 1960. Sunday’s service was something he wanted to come back to do for some time. In the photo are Brian Guppy; Stan Barry; Dr. Robert Murchie; Guy Gauthreaux of the U.S. Navy Band; Atty. Gerhard Klem; and Barry’s wife, Sharon, also of the U.S. Navy Band.
