Gary D. McCaulley Sr., 57 of Grazierville, RD#4 Box 96, Tyrone, Pa. died at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at the Tyrone Hospital.
He was born February 1, 1946 in Altoona, a son of Rowen C. “Roll” and Jean McCahan McCaulley.
He was married December 1, 1979 in Tyrone to Sharon L. Myers.
He is survived by his wife Sharon and one son, Gary D. McCaulley Jr. at home, his mother Jean McCaulley Shirey of RD#4 Tyrone, two brothers, Rowen W. McCaulley and Terry L. McCaulley of RD#4 Tyrone, his father and mother-in-law Paul and Pauline Myers in Tyrone and several nephews and nieces.
He was a member of the Tyrone Alliance Church, a member of the Hookies Fire Company and a 1964 graduate of Tyrone Area High School.
He retired on disability January 1, 2002 after 30 years at the Chicago Rivet and Machine Co and was previously employed at Big Yank Corp, Hanlon & Wilson and the Tyrone Westvaco Paper Mill.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 26, 2003 at the Derman Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park in Antis Township.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
