Yesterday morning, Pyramid Healthcare notified Snyder Township supervisors the facility is completing the necessary work to meet township regulations.
At the August meeting, township engineer Bill Gohn of the EADS Group, Inc. gave an update to supervisors of a recent inspection of Pyramid Healthcare in which 15 items of the facility failed to meet township regulations.
Gohn explained he met with Edward Bellock, engineer for Pyramid Healthcare, and viewed the site for compliance with the Land Development and Stormwater Management plan prepared by Bellock as approved by the Snyder Township Board of Supervisors.
A letter was sent August 7 by the township to Pyramid Healthcare with a deadline for compliance of 11:59 p.m., September 3, 2003.
Pyramid Healthcare notified the supervisors by letter yesterday morning and said the facility believed it had complied with the ordinances and thought it was given an extension to complete the work by PennDot.
The letter also stated the items the facility has already completed and assured supervisors the work would be completed by the end of the week.
Supervisor Jim Daughenbaugh is scheduled to inspect Pyramid Healthcare on Thursday.
