Hollidaysburg state police
Aaron T. Jeffries, 18, of Tyrone was arrested by police for driving under the influence of alcohol following a single-vehicle accident along state Route 350 in Snyder Township at 1:40 a.m. Sunday.
Police said Jeffries was westbound when he lost control of his 1989 Cutlass Siera. Police said the vehicle traveled onto the embankment, struck a telephone pole then rolled onto its roof.
Jeffries, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injures. His vehicle sustained sever damage.

Police report someone stole a portable CD player and a Pioneer cassette player from the inside of Michael C. Ellenberger II’s vehicle while it was parked at a residence along Glasgow Lane in Antis Township sometime between 9:30 and 10 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Also, police said the right rear tire on the vehicle was punctured.

Police were called to SR 99 in Snyder Township at 11:44 a.m. Aug. 22 to investigate an accident.
Police said Tracey Crispell of Tyrone lost control of her vehicle, struck an embankment and flipped on its roof. Police said she was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Tyrone Hospital for treatment.

Police report a residence along Decker Hollow Road in Snyder Township was forcibly entered sometime Sunday or yesterday and several items were taken.

Police report a vehicle was damaged when someone slashed all four tires and smashed the front and side windows while it was parked in at a restaurant along SR 1001 in Antis Township Sunday or Monday.

David Pielmeier of RD 3 Altoona reported to police that his vehicle parked at his home along SR 1013, Sinking Valley Road, was shot four times with a pellet gun.

Police report 19-year-old J. Russell Anthony Breece of Tyrone was cited for underage consumption after he was encountered as a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to have been drinking.
Police said the incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 along state Route 99 near the Pinecroft exit in Antis Township.

Police arrested 41-year-old Richard Lee Moore on charges of driving under the influence following a routine traffic stop near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and 10th Street in Tyrone at 11:35 p.m. Aug. 23.

David Joseph Kies, a train engineer from Tyrone, reported to police that while operating a train along the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks in the vicinity of PPG Pavillion in Tipton at 9:55 p.m. on Aug. 24, he was shot with a paintball. Police said the projectile struck Kies in the stomach.

Police report the arrest of 20-year-old Jacob William Ewing of Tyrone on charges of driving under the influence.
According to police, Ewing was arrested following a routine traffic stop along SR 99 in Antis Township at 7:31 p.m. Aug. 22.

Police were called to state Route 4027 at LaScalia’s restaurant in Snyder Township at 6:28 p.m. on Aug. 23 to investigate an accident.
Police said Elizabeth Rodgers of Tyrone was northbound when she turned her vehicle into the path of a southbound motorcycle operated by Matthew A. Christine, also of Tyrone.
The passengers in Rodgers’ vehicle were all wearing safety belts and were not injured. Christine and his passenger, Santana Dively of Tyrone, were wearing helmets, but suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to Altoona Hospital for treatment.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Tyrone Fire Department, Tyrone Fire Police, Tyrone ambulance and the Bald Eagle Fire Company.

Police report someone broke a door window out of a vehicle parked at Myers Autobody in Snyder Township sometime between 9 a.m. Aug. 20 and 3 p.m. Aug. 21.
