Mrs. June Faye Fisher, age 81, formerly of Bald Eagle and a resident at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2002 at the Tyrone Hospital.
She was born April 14, 1921 in Tyrone, a daughter of Raymond H. and Ruth A. (Spitler) Shultz.
She was married in 1941 at Alliance, NE., to Charles Fisher who died March 17, 1999.
She is survived by one son, Robert E. Fisher, Sr. of Williamsport, two grandsons, Robert E. Fisher Jr., RD #3 Tyrone and William E. Fisher of Williamston, NJ.
She was preceded in death by a son Gary Cisney, one sister, two brothers and a granddaughter Sharon.
She was a member of the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church and a 1940 graduate of Tyrone High School.
She had worked at the J.R. Wald Plant during World War II and then at Big Yank Corp. for many years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Tyrone, with Pastor Jay E. Jones and Chamlain Joan Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
