Congressman Bill Shuster will visit Northern Blair County on Friday.
The Ninth District representative will visit Tipton and Tyrone during his series of office-hours sessions this week.
The congressman visited Waynesboro, Chambersburg and McConnellsburg yesterday and is visiting Mifflintown and Huntingdon today.
During his trip to Northern Blair County on Friday, Shuster will visit ORX in Tipton and visit Reclamere in Tyrone. The visit to Tipton is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and the Tyrone visit is planned for 11 a.m.
The sessions of office hours are designed to give individuals an opportunity to talk directly with Congressman Shuster and share their thoughts and ideas.
“This is one of the fundamental aspects of my job as a representative of the Ninth District,” said Shuster. “It is also the part of my job that I enjoy the most. While I cast votes in Washington, DC. the most innovative ideas come from talking and meeting with people in the communities across the district. These solutions are one of the best ways I can bring those ideas and concerns to Washington DC.”
Shuster was recently appointed as the Assistant Majority Whip and was elected to his first full term in November.
