New Pig Corporation has started shipping PIG Products only three business days after a fire burned its inventory and fulfillment, customer service, and outbound telephone sales centers on Halloween night. Inventory and equipment were lost, but thankfully, no one was injured.
“It’s unbelievable how much we’ve accomplished in such a short period of time. I’m inspired and appreciate the efforts every pigger committed to serving our customers”, said Ben Satterfeld, New Pig Chairman.
Since the fire, New Pig employees have been working 24 hours a day to re-establish the Warehouse, Customer Service & Outbound Telephone Sales Centers to service customers.
“Our fully-staffed Customer Service and Sales Team is busy taking orders and helping customers select the right products, our Manufacturing Team is producing inventory that was lost in the fire and our Warehouse Team has a fully operational fulfillment center,” stated Stapelfeld. “In less than three business days, we have started shipping orders.”
“But”, Stapelfeld went on to say, “New Pig couldn’t have done this alone. With the tremendous support of our extended PIG Family – the local community, partners, suppliers, friends and loyal customers — that we were able to get back up and running as quickly as we did.”
State police at Hollidaysburg has yet to determine a cause of the blaze, but said the investigation is continuing.
