The annual powder puff football game was held last evening at Gray-Veterans Memorial Field. The game is sponsored by the Tyrone Elks Lodge, and proceeds from the game go to the Ellenberger Scholarship fund as well as youth activities for the Tyrone Elks Lodge. The Ellenberger Scholarship is a $500 scholarship presented each year to a senior member of the Tyrone Golden Eagle Football team. The annual powder puff game features a flag football game between the Tyrone Junior Girls and Senior Girls, and coaches are members of the Tyrone Golden Eagle football team.
