Members of Tyrone Hospital Auxiliary decorated its Christmas Tree Sunday afternoon in the hospital lobby in preparing for holiday activities there. On Friday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Auxiliary will host a Christmas Tea with refreshments in the hospital lobby in welcoming the there. Helping to decorate the tree, in front from left, are Jane Ashcroft, her grandson, Jack Ashcroft, Helen Black and Sally Miller. Back – Frances Hunter, Donna Carson, Carolyn Cushion and Virgie Werner. Information will also be available on the Auxiliary’s Membership Drive which begins the first of the New Year. Tonight (Monday), Dec. 1, the Tyrone Hospital Development Council invites the public to its eighth annual Tree Lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. at the hospital. (The Daily Herald/Virgie Werner)
