Several local organizations are serving as collection sites for “Toys for Tots” this holiday season.
The public is welcome to donate a new unwrapped toy for children ages 0 to 13. All donations made at Tyrone area collection sites will be donated to children that live in the Tyrone area. This year there are 115 local children signed up for the Toys for Tots program.
The deadline for donations is Friday, December 12.
Local organizations that have volunteered to serve as collection sites include: the Tyrone Police Station, Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce, Silver Screen Video, Rhonda’s Retreat, The Beauty Salon, Snappy’s, Comcast, Dance Fusion, State Farm Insurance, The Daily Herald, Tyrone Medical Associates, Tyrone Public Library, and Tyrone Hospital.
