Tyrone Hospital is pleased to announce that Nancy Frezza (Flaugh), D.O. has returned to the hospital’s medical staff.
Dr. Frezza has joined Tyrone Hospital as an emergency department physician. Dr. Frezza is board certified in both family medicine and pediatrics.
Members of the community may remember Dr. Frezza as she previously was in private practice in Tyrone providing family medicine and pediatric services. Most recently, she was on the staff at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Altoona.
A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Frezza is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Medical College of Pennsylvania, and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
During her career she has served as adjunct faculty at the West Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, St. Francis University physician assistant program, and the Lock Haven University physician assistant program.
In addition to Tyrone Hospital, Dr. Frezza has served on the medical staff of Altoona Regional Health System, Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital, and the James E. Van Zandt Veteran’s Administration Medical Center.
Dr. Frezza is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Frezza’s professional affiliations include the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
